The Farmington IDA
The Farmington Industrial Development Authority was established over 30 years ago by local business leaders to encourage effective and responsible industrial recruitment and expansion. Since its inception, the Farmington IDA led the effort to acquire the Farmington Industrial Park and has been the lead development entity in siting every major industry in the community. Development assistance has included Missouri Chapter 100 Industrial Revenue Bonds exceeding $40 million, development of an incubator building that has provided rent subsidies for several start-up companies, build-to-suit leases, discounted land sales, technical assistance for State and Federal grant programs and much more!
The Farmington IDA Board of Directors is appointed by the Mayor and City Council and its membership includes community leaders representing all areas of commerce and industry including retail development, finance, manufacturing, information technology, healthcare, and education. The Board of Directors values its relationships with its existing industrial partners and is anxious to demonstrate our commitment to making your start-up, expansion, or relocation a success. The Farmington IDA understands the difficulties faced when planning a major business expansion and wants to help you reach your business goals.
